Grant amount
A simulator is at your disposition to calculate the amount of the grant to which you are entitled.
The grant will be calculated based on 75% of your average income from work in the 3 months out of the last 6 months preceding work stoppage - according to the higher wage,
nonetheless without exceeding NIS 134 per day.
For instance: for an insured person aged 68 who was put on unpaid leave on 7.10.23.
- His wage in the months of April and May was - NIS 3,000 gross per month.
-
His wage in the months of June and July was - NIS 3,200 gross per month.
-
His wage in the months of August and September was - NIS 3,600 gross per month.
In the calculation of the grant will be taken into consideration the 3 months with the highest wage, in other words, July, August and September.
Calculating the average wage in the months of July, August and September:
3 600 + 3 600 + 3 200 = 10 400
10 400 : 3 = 3 466
Calculating 75% of the average wage: 75% x 3 466 = 2 600
Calculating the grant amount per day: 2 600 : 30 = 86
The amount of the grant to be paid for a day of work will be NIS 86.
The amount of the grant to be paid for the month of October (24 days) will be NIS 2,064.
